What to Pack for a Rugby Tour

Remember that Rugby Tours are multi-day away games and therefore require a lot of planning and packing. A simple forgotten item could cause problems on tour, so here is a list of items to bring.

Kit and Boots

1 pair of two pairs of socks, alternative playing shirts, etc. 1 extra pair of rugby boots if you have them.

Injury and Recovery Essentials

Strapping tape, ibuprofen gel, blister plasters and a small ice pack will also save your tour. England Rugby’s player welfare guidance for rugby covers physical preparation and recovery in full should you need it.

Admin and Documents

Your passport, travel insurance and any relevant medical information should be packed in a waterproof wallet. It’s also worth taking a photo of each item and sending it to your phone just in case.

Downtime Gear

When you’re not playing rugby, you will likely be attending team dinners and other functions where smart-casual dress is required. You should bring a light layer for cooler nights and a travel adaptor for charging your phone. For Rugby Tours, see https://www.foxsportstravel.co.uk/sports-travel/rugby-tours.

Just remember to pack this lot and you can get on with playing some rugby!
